Sir Andrew an English gentleman's clothing range that sells to Scandinavia. Baised on traditional English style they have created their first collection......

the photographer Karen Storey (http://karenstoreyphotography.com/home.html)asked if I would want to style their first look book!.....with my tweed coat and brogues i accepted!

Its been a while

Its been full steam ahead.... helping Fred in Dalston, pulling pints in Wimbledon and everything else inbetween.

Finally its winter and I am able to wear the two floor length tweed coat I found in summer.........it was worth the wait!

New Post

New Post
So it has been a busy couple of weeks with the south coast and ear infections, but now its on to the next two weeks.

A good friend Karen Storey http://karenstoreyphotography.com/ has approached me and asked if i would want to style a look book for a menswear designer.
This is very exciting news.....the designers vision runs along the theme of English hunting and traditional English fabrics all mixed with a modern twist!

Online portfolios.....

Back in London and the task now is online portfolio!

The bedroom/studio is organised now there is no stopping me!!

I realised today I don't like walnuts because they look like brains.... And you shouldn't eat anything that looks like brains!

This image is from my exhibition in Frome and New Designers.... A tiny paper city with a tiny paper bus!

No more chocolate buttons

After a good nights sleep I was able to spend the day up in the studio without sneaking off to the river to indulge in chocolate buttons.

Today was the first lunch outside in the sun.

I found two dirty, fluffy chickens on the side of the road today, I have given them a home.

This photograph is from the first stages of my project, I was looking at an embroidery I had produced of cress and putting it in to an environment where it shouldn't be.
I like the dirt and grime next to the calico.

Thursday 8 April 2010

Even though the sun is shining I am up in the studio. I managed to wear my new pink sunglasses up the hill and now I am continuing the work on my book looking at "something surviving somewhere it shouldn't"

right (a page from the book)

Today it felt like a chilly afternoon in Falmouth, when your desperately waiting for the sun to stay out longer.

The grass has been cut on the golf course, summer is slowly arriving, even if I did have a bad cup of tea this morning!

Seven Weeks Left......

Today was the start of the final 7 weeks of being in my studio, in Bath before returning to the big city.

Every third thought is of my time when I will be back in London, untill the 30th of June I will try to concentrate on Bath life and not what will happen after!
With reflection to this my final project is dealing with the theme of "Something Surviving somewhere it Shouldn't"
Initially i was looking at small plants and weeds growing where they shouldn't and their daily survival and routine!
